This collection brings together a curated set of training and learning materials developed by Bioversity International and its partners for professionals, trainers, students and practitioners working in the fields of plant-genetic resources, agrobiodiversity, seed systems, conservation and sustainable use. The resources span manuals, self-learning modules, lecturer guides and visual case-studies covering topics such as genebank management, plant–genetic diversity, community seed-banking, policy and legal frameworks, molecular-marker techniques, nutrition and food-systems, and more. Typical items include open-access downloadable guides, training modules in multiple languages, and tools for classroom and field use.
The purpose of the collection is to support capacity building and knowledge transfer in biodiverse agricultural, forestry and food-systems (especially in low- and middle-income countries), by making high-quality, evidence-based instructional materials freely available globally.
