Crops-to-Go is an interactive, AI-powered tool that transforms how researchers and farmers access crop germplasm—seeds and other plant genetic material essential for research, breeding, and conservation. With an intuitive workflow and smart recommendations from Genebank databases, Crops-to-Go shortens the process of finding and requesting the right genetic resources from weeks to days, while reducing the workload for Genebank curators. The initiative is currently in its pilot stage at the Potato and Sweetpotato Genebank at the International Potato Center (CIP).
