We conduct research, technology transfer, conservation and utilization of genetic resources, and produce seeds, seedlings, and breeding stock with high genetic value. We coordinate and regulate research, development, and innovation (R&D&I) with stakeholders in the National Agricultural Innovation System (SNIA), focusing on competitiveness, food security, and adaptation to climate change. We formulate, propose, and implement the national agricultural innovation policy and plan.
