INIFAP is an institution of scientific and technological excellence with national and international leadership and recognition for its ability to respond to the demands of knowledge and technological innovations, through highly trained personnel with infrastructure, cutting-edge tools and a modern and autonomous administration for the benefit of the forestry, agricultural, livestock, Mexican countryside and society in general subsector. Since its foundation in 1985, it has had as a priority the optimal use of material, human and budgetary resources, as well as the creation of synergies among research personnel, recognizing interactions and complementarity to serve the country’s producers.
